Our client is a well-established international law firm with an outstanding reputation in Luxembourg. It provides high quality legal advice and services in banking & finance, corporate, capital markets & securitisation, insolvency, tax, investment funds as well as intellectual property and ICT.

In view of its further expansion, it is now seeking to strengthen its team with an investment funds partner.

You will further build the investment funds practice, further develop the clientele and position our client as a recognized funds player in the Luxembourg market.

You will assist clients in relation to all aspects of investment funds (both UCITS and funds for qualified investors), including investment funds structures investing in real estate and private equity as well as hedge funds and funds of funds structures;

In doing so, you will advise on questions with respect to AIFMD and its legal impact in Luxembourg. You will be able to use your experience of the CSSF practice.

You will develop your team in line with the building up of workflow.

You hold a university law degree and preferably an LLM obtained abroad;

You have at least 10 years’ relevant working experience in a law firm in the Luxembourg market;

You are recognized as a specialist and a genuine authority;

You possess strong entrepreneurial and networking skills;

You will lead your team and take operational responsibility;

You have excellent analytical and judgement skills;

You are perfectly fluent in French and/or German and English.
