Our Client is the firmly Belgian rooted accounting and audit firm Vandelanotte. Vandelanotte was established in 1948, when founding father Roger Vandelanotte decided to give up his job as a teacher and to set up an accounting firm of his own. Since then, at least one additional employee was hired every year. Today, the office has more than 550 employees in over 19 offices across Belgium, with a stronghold in Lille, France. Over the years, mergers and acquisitions have contributed to the sustained growth of Vandelanotte. Today, it has grown into the leading Belgian owned accounting and audit firm and it counts some of the finest and strongest Belgian and foreign companies among its clients.

Vandelanotte is now looking to hire a Transfer Pricing expert to lead and the team of 3 transfer pricing professionals

Function

• Lead and coordinate the team of 3 transfer pricing professionals
• Coordinate the preparation and update of globally consistent transfer pricing documentation and review of the draft transfer pricing documentation produced to ensure correct treatment of client intra-group transactions and determine whether further information is required;
Manage various transfer pricing formalities and monitor client group guidelines, policies and directives in the transfer pricing area;
• Support in and prepare for tax audits at client's premises and questions from tax authorities;
• Support in producing extensive financial and economic analysis/models to support restructuring/pricing decisions and transfer pricing compliance;
• (Pro)actively monitor all international (e.g. OECD, EU) and local transfer pricing developments;
• Perform research and prepare transfer pricing analyses and draft position papers, unilateral and/or bilateral advance pricing agreement requests, presentations etc.

Profile

• You have a University degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics or a relevant Financial education, with understanding of accounting and at least 12 years of relevant Transfer pricing and international tax experience;
• You are solution-oriented, independent, proactive, responsible and highly motivated;
• you are hands-on, outspoken with good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Verbal and written fluency in English is a must; any additional European language is a plus;
• You have excellent knowledge of Excel.
