Our client is a leading international consultancy organisation, offering a broad array of services in audit, tax and corporate finance and other business performance issues. Worldwide it has offices in all major business locations.
In view of its continuous growth, our client is now seeking to strengthen its Tax department in Belgium, which currently employs over 300 tax counsels, with a Senior Manager in the Antwerp region.
As a Senior Manager in the International Tax department, you will:
Advise Belgian and foreign based companies in respect of Belgian and foreign corporate tax matters, including cross border tax issues;
Grow and develop stable business relations with prospective clients and companies;
Supervise, coach and mentor a team of young tax advisors;
Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress;
Manage the preparation of reports and schedules;
Build strong internal relationships with your team members as well as with your colleagues of the other service lines;
Contribute to HR initiatives such as recruitment, performance reviews, retention and training.
You hold a Master’s degree in law or economics preferably with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters;
You have at least 5 of years of relevant experience in national and international corporate Tax matters;
You have excellent business development and client relation skills and are business minded;
You are able to manage and direct project management from beginning to end;
You are a team player with a positive attitude and a good communicator;
You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English and ideally French.
